New Updated Fund Structure and objectives
1. Members should disclose:
- The fund type and structure
- Domicile, governing law
- Whether or not the Fund is authorised, by which regulator, and the authorisation category, e.g. NURS, QIS, UCITS, PIF, QIF.
- Whether the fund is closed-ended, open-ended or partially open-ended.
2. The following should also be disclosed:
- Investment objectives
- The policy for achieving the objectives
- Any investment restrictions
- The types of investors that are eligible to invest in the fund.
3. Funds should disclose:
- How its policies are agreed and can be changed
- Who is responsible for appointing third party valuers, managing agents advisors and providing the neccessary information
- The conflict of interest policies applicable to the fund, and who has responsibility for identifying, managing and monitoring conflicts of interests; these can be provided on request.
