End of Fund Life
The End of Fund Life Report (link) provides guidance prepared by AREF/INREV in respect of the end of a fund’s life and contains guidance in respect of considerations and procedures to be taken into account when closed ended funds approach their termination date, and term extension is being considered. It provides detailed commentary around minimum and best practice guidelines. Appendix 3 of the guidance includes recommendations to managing the extension process.
A - Minimum compliance
- Funds within the last two years of their termination date or entering into restructuring discussions are required to substantially adhere to the guidelines and recommendations contained within the End of Fund Life Report.
